Visiting New Orleans: On June 12th-15th, 2007 Stefan visited four schools in New Orleans and the Main Library. The purpose of his trip was to spend time with the school children who lost so much after Hurricane Katrina. Stefan read his book to the children, answered their questions, and gave them a copy of his book, "My Adventures With Stitch". The children were very polite, inquisitive and appreciative of his gift and efforts. The trip was truly a wonderful experience for everyone, especially Stefan and the children.
Visiting and Speaking to Children at Libraries and Schools In US: (2007) Stefan visits a variety of libraries and schools in the US where he reads his book to the children, discusses how he wrote his book, talks about the schools he's building in Africa (Project Africa), answers questions, and on occasion passes out free books that a donor has purchased and asked to be distributed.
Food and Blankets For Homeless People: (1996-2007) At 1 1/2 years old Stefan passed out lunches to homeless people in San Francisco from his mother's backpack. He then went onto passing out hot lunches, cookies and blankets on cold nights.
Art supplies for Hamilton Family Center: (2005) Stefan received a $1,000 donation to buy art supplies for the homeless children in San Francisco. After shopping for the supplies at Walmart he personally delivered them to the center. Once there he explained his mission of "children helping children" to the director of the Hamilton Family Center.

Project Africa: (2005-2007) Stefan raised money to convert an abandoned cow shed into a school house (named "Stefan's Wing") in Kakamega, Western Kenya, Africa for 40-60 students. This project (including school desks) was funded by money he raised from the sale of his first book, "My Adventures with Stitch".
Currently, Stefan is raising $60,000 for the construction of his own school, which is under construction in Bungoma, approximately 21 km from Stefan's Wing. This new school is an important addition to the local community because it will help to educate children who are not able to attend school due to lack of facilities.
